Jacquline
Jacquline is a folk-rock band, crafting songs rich with warmth, reflection, and quiet nostalgia. More than a solitary voice and guitar, their sound is built on layered instrumentation interwoven guitars, textured rhythms, melodic basslines, and harmonies that swell and recede with feeling.
Romy
‘One to watch!’ Dean Jackson, BBC Introducing
At just 17 years old, Romy is emerging as one of the East Midlands’ most exciting new voices.
Blending Indie, Folk and Pop influences with a sharp, socially conscious edge. Her songwriting is rooted in sharp observation, social awareness, and emotional honesty. Expect powerful vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and songs that hit with real emotional weight.
With just an acoustic guitar, Romy is able to captivate an audience, delivering sets that move from melancholy to fiercely powerful themes. Romy’s music connects instantly. Her lyrics are heartfelt, her hooks are strong, and with raw honesty at the core of her work, she continues to establish herself as one of the Midlands’ most compelling young voices and a talent to watch closely in the years ahead.
Her previous releases have received airplay across BBC Introducing stations in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Lincoln, as well as Burton Radio, Lichfield Radio and beyond.
Romy has performed on BBC Introducing stages at Hockley Hustle and Lincoln Live, appeared at Sofar Sounds showcases, and shared stages with acclaimed artists including Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets) and Tom Robinson. With performances across Nottingham, Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Manchester and London, she continues to win over audiences and establish herself as a rising talent to watch.
