COMMS are a new band making their debut performance with a headline show at The Grove, Nottingham. With a broad set of influences but a shared interpretation of ideas, the band members have come together to create and express their artistic vision.
Founded on an individual and collective respect for each other, they are looking to create something new in their upcoming studio recordings and their live performances.
The band members at the core of this project are Eli Green, Ellis Parish and Joshua Todd - with guest musicians as collaborators.
Building on a back catalog of tried and tested tracks reimagined for a band setting, the coming first months will be leading to existing and new material being released in a regular timeframe, building to a body of work promoted by hard-working live performances.
The main support comes from Leicester folk-pop artist Rainbow Frog Biscuits, a fantastic songwriter and storyteller, whose music has amassed a huge following, support from BBC Introducing, and has a growing reputation as an outstanding live performer.
We hope that you’ll be part of the journey, either on this night, or somewhere down the line.
