Based in Sydney, Australia and lead by Kel Mason, Gee Tee was born in 2016. The project started in Kels garage on the Gold Coast where he would write and record. Kel relocated to Sydney in 2019 and put together a band which included Michael Barker, Ishka Edmeades, Ryan Ellem and Campbell Payne. Since 2021, Gee Tee have been selling out records and selling out shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Gee Tee have earnt headlining spots at Gonerfest in Memphis and Anti Fade’s Jerkfest in Geelong. After covid 19 ended, Gee Tee embarked on their first international tour in the USA for 8 shows in 2022. This then lead to a Europe tour with 23 shows in 2023. In 2024, Gee Tee return to the USA with another headline spot at Gonerfest and a 21 show run across the country. This most recent tour was met with warmth and admiration as 9 of the 21 shows were sold out. Gee Tee have also received praise from Pitchfork for the latest album ‘Goodnight Neanderthal’ which received a rating of 7.7 by Evan Minsker.

Venue access
Brudenell Social Club has step free access from the entrance through to both event rooms. There is also a newly installed accessible toilet, which is accessed via a RADAR key.Companion Tickets
The venue offer a Personal Assistant ticket to any customer who may not be able to attend a show without the support of a PA and has already purchased their own valid ticket. Assistance Dogs
Brudenell welcome assistance dogs into the venue and will happily provide a bowl of water if needed. However, not all events are suitable so please contact the venue beforehand.The Brudenell is a lively and fun loving venue that embraces music and art under a wide and diverse umbrella that has no boundaries.
The Brudenell has been in the past most famous for hosting secret gigs for bands like Franz Ferdinand and the Kaiser Chiefs. However, it has been a centrepiece of the Leeds music scene for a number of years, and hosts events most nights of the week, which are put on by a variety of local promoters, covering a wide spectrum of genres.
The Brudenell is not just about music... facilities include: a lounge, Games Room with Snooker Table, 5 Pool Tables, Darts, Table Football, two large concert room, Sky TV and BT Sport showing all the live sports in HD.
