Information

Performing Artists

Fyfe Dangerfield plays a unique outdoor gig at Sneinton Market Avenues in Nottingham this August. Join Folkroom and The Grove as they present a gorgeous evening of music in the heart of Nottingham's creative quarter.

Fyfe Dangerfield is perhaps best known as the frontman & chief songwriter of cinematic pop band Guillemots, whose debut 2006 album “Through the Windowpane” was shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize. Over the past decade or so, he’s been harvesting a vast & mysterious body of STUFF, spanning the full ecstatic spectrum of creative colour. His music remains lush and ambitious, overflowing with the grandeur that made Guillemots' music so beguiling upon its debut, twenty years ago.

Bring your blankets, and come join us in Sneinton Market Avenues. We'll have food from Forager's Kitchen, a well-stocked bar, and an unforgettable night of music. Supports TBA.

Sneinton Market Avenues is a vibrant area in Nottingham, located just a short distance from the city centre. It is part of the broader Sneinton Market area, which has a rich history dating back to the 19th century when it was originally established as a wholesale fruit and vegetable market. Over the years, Sneinton Market has evolved into a creative and cultural hub, with the Avenues being at the heart of this transformation.
