In the summer of 1973 at the height of his fame, Slade’s drummer Don Powell was involved in a devastating car accident, leaving him with brain injury that resulted in severe and lasting memory loss. Award winning writer and performer Ian Pearce collaborated with Don to recreate the emotional journey to recovery in this gripping and emotional one man show. Don Powell will appear in person at Robin 2 in his home town Bilston, with Ian to discuss the events and to take questions from the audience. This is a unique opportunity for all classic rock fans to experience a truthful performance and join in the conversation with the legendary drummer himself.
