“This is an emotional, psychological experience. Kid A sounds like a clouded brain trying to recall an alien abduction” – Pitchfork
To mark the 25th anniversary of one of the most revered British alt-rock albums of all time, we are delighted to announce an all-star London jazz line-up to revisit the album and catapult the record further into the cosmos.
Band leader Rick Simpson is equally at home exploring the tradition or pushing fearlessly against the boundaries, and now his unique creative voice is back in the spotlight with a typically idiosyncratic project: a re-framing of Radiohead’s Kid A album, featuring ten original arrangements of the source material played by an all-star band of like-minded musical mavericks.
The project will see Simpson play the entirety of Kid A in full alongside music from Radiohead’s Amnesiac and In Rainbows.
This event does not feature a performance by Radiohead.
This event is not in association with Radiohead.
