An international triple bill featuring an all female lineup, traversing alt-folk, chamber-pop and indie-rock.
Ruth Lyon (UK): Newcastle’s potent singer-songwriter weaves deeply evocative narratives and meditations, with an artistry that balances delicacy and strength, combining analogue textures and angular indie-folk sensibilities. Ruth has performed at Brighton’s Great Escape, Glastonbury Festival, SXSW Texas and was included on the Disability Power 100 List which named her as among the most influential disabled people in the UK.
Eliza Hull (Australia): Dark indie-pop about womanhood and desire. Eliza has performed at the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Recital Centre, SXSW and The Great Escape. She has recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony Music and was this year awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her contribution to music and disability advocacy.
Anna Smyrk (Australia): Indie-folk-rock for tender-hearted people. Anna's recent debut album got multiple spins on BBC 6, with Clash Magazine calling her an 'indie-folk wonder.' Anna has toured around the UK, Europe and the USA playing festivals like SXSW Texas and supporting bands like Strands of Oak and Babes in Canyon.
