Privacy Policy We will not pass on your details to third parties. Shrewsbury Folk Festival will only use your email address to send festival updates but you must make sure you check the appropriate box. We’ll send info on artists booked, who is on which day, arrival times, car parking, maps, camping details and child and youth activities etc. Please make sure you check this option when you buy tickets or you WILL miss important information.
Venues SFF has a mixture of outside stages and open sided marquees. You’ll need to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets.
Opening Times
Gates open for Thursday camping (ticket holders only) from 15:00-18:00
Gates open for Friday camping from 07:00
Gates open for day ticket holders at 12:00 on Friday and at 09:00 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Concert finish times 00:00 *except on Monday when it’s approximately 18:30*.
Tickets Your automated E Ticket should be with you within 30 minutes of ordering. You’ll need to show your E Ticket, complete with bar code, on arrival. If your email doesn’t arrive within 30 minutes, please get in touch with Gigantic Tickets at customerservices@gigantic.com or give them a call on 0115 807 7900. Please check your junk folder first though! Weekend wristband colours will indicate if you are entitled to camp or not so please make sure you book the correct tickets. We have a 3 tier weekend ticket system which is the fairest system we can adopt. As always, the earlier you buy your tickets, the cheaper they are. Each tier has a limited number of tickets and when they’re gone, they’re gone so please book early! When tier 1 tickets sell out the price will automatically change to tier 2 and so on.
Car Parking - For non campers Parking costs £5.25 per day or £15.50 for the weekend. These charges apply to vehicles parked in our car park (not camping pitches).

Family ticket options (with or without camping)
2 adults and 2 children 5-10 yrs
2 adults and 1 child 5-10 yrs and 1 youth 11-17 yrs
2 adults and 2 youths 11-17 yrs
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
Concessionary tickets Prices are tiered and like all other tickets, when they’re gone they’re gone. Concession tickets are for people aged 66+, full time students or people in receipt of the below benefits:
- Universal Credit (UC)
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Proof of eligibility will be required at the festival, or the full price will be charged.
Carer tickets If you require a carer to attend the festival to assist you, then one discounted carer ticket can be purchased to match yours. A discounted carer ticket is provided on the expectation that your carer is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit and will be available to help you in the event of an evacuation.
To qualify you need to be in receipt of one of these Carer's Credits:
- Disability Living Allowance - middle or highest rate of the care component
- Attendance Allowance
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment daily living part
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- Child Disability Payment (CDP) middle or highest rate of the care component
Proof of eligibility will be required at the festival, or the full price will be charged.
Buying souvenir programmes - Souvenir programmes are only available to order if you live in the UK.

Camping
There are camping options for adult, concession, carer, family and youth weekend tickets. If you need to add camping tickets to an existing weekend ticket order you can only do so by emailing Gigantic Tickets at customerservices@gigantic.com quoting your order reference number. Camping is not available as a stand-alone ticket or with day tickets. Wristband colours will indicate if you are entitled to camp or not so please make sure you book the correct tickets.
Weekend camping (Thur-Mon): We offer a limited number of camping tickets allowing arrival between 15:00 and 18:00 on Thursday. You are not allowed to save space for friends arriving on Friday. If you wish to camp together, you will need to meet up offsite before arriving. Please note, entertainment does not start until Friday afternoon. Campsite closes at 12:00 on Tuesday.
Weekend camping (Fri-Mon): This is for people wishing to camp Fri-Mon only. Campsite opens at 07:00 on Friday and closes at 12:00 on Tuesday.
Child and Youth tickets and camping for the under 18s: All 0-17 yrs tickets are priced according to age (0-4 yrs go free). Camping is free for everyone aged 0-10 yrs and does not need to be booked. Youth (11-17 yrs) camping is available with weekend tickets only.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Under no circumstances will youths be permitted entry to Shrewsbury Folk Festival without an adult. The adult must camp with, or next to, the youth’s camping pitch. If you think your age will be questioned, please bring personal identification.
