Afterhours are one of the most influential and enduring bands in Italian alternative rock, founded in 1986 by frontman Manuel Agnelli. Emerging from the underground scene with early English-language releases, the band evolved into a defining voice of Italian rock with albums such as Germi (1995) and Hai paura del buio? (1997), blending melody and noise with sharp lyricism and experimental ambition.
Across a rich catalogue including Non è per sempre (1999), Quello che non c’è (2002) and Ballate per piccole iene (2005), Afterhours have continually refined their sound, balancing raw intensity with sophisticated arrangements.
