Absolutely fantastic! Bastille were amazing and we loved the venue too.

Bastille, Powderham Castle, Exeter - 2nd July 2023
Well organised, good communication on venue parking and entrance arrangements, bar prices ok, didn’t have any food so cannot comment. The bands ‘Deloras forever’ especially were excellent support act, good build up to Bastille who were fabulous. Toilet facilities were again ok, better signage for gents urinals could have been better ( friends joined queue for Porto loos not realising there was a separate queue). However, all in all we had a brilliant evening and will be looking out for 2024 events. Shame that the band had to stop for the idiots (drunk or otherwise) who decided to spoil the evening for those close bye.

The while concert ran very smoothly, I can't complain too much however, I was expecting a few more of their #1 chart songs. But they were still great and we had a good night.

Great gig in a very good location. Food was terrible, and massively overpriced, especially the pizza wagon !! Awful. Needed to ask for a refund Will definitely be looking at future gigs at Powderham Castle

BASTILLE are a chart-topping South London band led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dan Smith, joined by Kyle Simmons on keys, Will Farquarson on bass and guitar, and Chris “Woody” Wood on drums. Known for their invigorating blend of indie pop and atmospheric electronics, they have crafted some of the past decade’s most euphoric anthems, including “Pompeii”, “Flaws”, “Of the Night” and “Happier”. Their debut album Bad Blood earned widespread acclaim and multiple BRIT Award nominations, showcasing Dan Smith’s cinematic songwriting and the band’s soaring, widescreen sound.
Following their BRIT Award win for British Breakthrough Act in 2014, Bastille continued their rise with a run of globally successful albums. Wild World (2016) expanded their socially aware storytelling, Doom Days (2019) offered a darker, introspective edge, and Give Me the Future (2022) embraced sleek modern pop with imaginative, forward-looking themes. With more than eleven million records sold worldwide, Bastille remain one of the UK’s most influential and inventive contemporary bands, celebrated for their emotional depth, powerful live shows and unmistakable melodic flair.
