Amazing performance

Beth Hart has the most incredible voice. She puts her heart and soul into every song sung. Memorised throughout. With a fantastic band behind her, the performance was up there with one of the best acts I have seen.

Beth at her finest

What a voice.. An amazing performance and a lovely lady. 3 hours went by in a flash. Fantastic support also from Willie and the Bandits. Will definitely be checking them out.

Superb performance

Have been to watch Beth six times now.She is one of the most underrated performers of our time. The glasshouse is the best place to watch her because of the acoustics in the building. She also seems to have an affinity with the crowd at Gateshead.Yet another outstanding show !

Beth Hart, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music - Sage One, Gateshead - 20th May 2026

Beth Hart is an American singer-songwriter whose voice carries all the grit, power and emotion of true blues and soul. Born in Los Angeles, she grew up surrounded by music. Her sound blends raw blues energy with rock, jazz and gospel. Her breakthrough came with Screamin' for My Supper (1999) and its hit single "LA Song (Out of This Town)", which introduced audiences to her magnetic voice and confessional songwriting.

Albums such as Leave the Light On (2003), 37 Days (2007) and Better Than Home (2015) showcased her fearless honesty. She has also made two albums with Joe Bonamassa, and the second of them, Seesaw (2013), earned a Grammy nomination for Best Blues Album after Don't Explain (2011). She has also worked with Slash and Jeff Beck, joining Beck for a memorable tribute to Buddy Guy at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors. Later releases show an artist who is still evolving, including Fire on the Floor (2016), War in My Mind (2019), A Tribute to Led Zeppelin (2022) and You Still Got Me (2024). On stage she's a commanding, deeply emotional presence, and she has headlined venues such as the Ryman Auditorium and the Royal Albert Hall.
