Amazing gig

Probably the most entertaining front man in the UK punk scene right now

Bruise Control, Le Pub, Newport - 14th March 2026

Bruise Control

Unforgettable gig. Great band and Jim is a Proper front man. First time I have seen anyone slide along the pub floor. Hope it's not too long before they come back.

Bruise Control, Le Pub, Newport - 14th March 2026

Bruise Control are a four-piece DIY punk/garage-rock band from Manchester, UK. Their music sits at the sharp intersection of early-2000s indie and ’80s hardcore — a blend of gritty riffs, raw vocals and a punk ethos that never compromises on energy. Their tracks like “No More” and “Left Behind” highlight their knack for combining melodic hooks with a sense of urgency and angst.

Live, Bruise Control have built a reputation for chaotic, no-holds-barred performances, delivering sweaty, cathartic gigs in venues up and down the UK. They’ve also been active on the festival circuit, showing up on line-ups like 2000 Trees Festival, expanding their audience beyond Manchester’s DIY scene.
