Fantastic performance full of energy, visceral drums and killer guitar riffs. Can’t wait to see GW again.

Absolutely fab that Ghost Woman evrn considered Nottingham on tour in the UK! And at a mere £10 too! Great musicians and good tracks played. Metronome is an excellent new'ish venue with a good-sized stage.

Ghost Woman, Metronome Nottingham, Nottingham - 10th May 2023
GHOSTWOMAN s a psychedelic rock project led by Canadian musician and producer Evan Uschenko. Formed in the late 2010s, the band blends gritty garage rock, hypnotic psychedelia, bluesy minimalism, and lo-fi textures into a sound that feels both vintage and otherworldly.
The band’s self-titled debut, Ghost Woman (2022), introduced their raw, stripped-down aesthetic of fuzzy guitars, steady rhythms, and moody vocals that evoke late-night introspection. Later that year, they followed up with Anne, If, expanding their sonic palette while maintaining the project’s shadowy edge and analogue warmth.
Known for immersive live sets and a DIY ethos, GHOSTWOMAN continues to evolve as a fluid collective centred around Uschenko’s vision, carving out a distinctive place in the modern psych-rock underground.
