Glasvegas, Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow - 4th April 2026
Band were amazing but the drummer was outstanding. Totally blown away by the atmosphere and power of the music. Better live than anything recorded.

Glasvegas, Concert Hall, Troon - 11th October 2024
Glasvegas are an indie-rock band from Glasgow whose anthemic sound and poetic lyricism have made them one of Scotland’s most distinctive modern acts. Formed in 2003 by frontman James Allan, the band’s lineup now includes Rab Allan (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Paul Donoghue (bass). Their music blends reverb-soaked guitars, heartfelt vocals and cinematic melancholy — drawing from the grit of working-class life and the grandeur of widescreen pop.
Their self-titled debut Glasvegas (2008) earned widespread acclaim, praised for its emotional power and atmospheric production, while follow-ups Euphoric Heartbreak (2011) and Later… When the TV Turns to Static (2013) showcased a growing depth and introspection. With Godspeed (2021), the band reaffirmed their place as master storytellers of hope, heartbreak and humanity. Known for their stirring live shows and unmistakable sense of drama, Glasvegas continue to stand apart as a band unafraid to bare their soul.
