Gnome are a progressive stoner rock trio from Antwerp, Belgium, celebrated for their heavy riffs, eccentric stage presence and gloriously unhinged approach to the genre. Blending sludge, doom and psychedelic rock, they create a sound that’s thunderous, warped and wonderfully distinctive — a world where crushing guitar tones meet playful experimentation. Their debut album Father of Time (2018) introduced their wild, riff-driven style, while the follow-up King (2021) cemented their reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting underground rock acts, packed with colossal grooves, unpredictable twists and a healthy dose of humour.
On stage, Gnome are a force of nature. Known for performing in pointy red hats and delivering sets full of explosive energy, tight musicianship and psychedelic chaos, they’ve built a devoted following across the continent. The band have stormed major festivals such as Desertfest and shared stages with heavyweights including Red Fang and Elder, consistently winning over crowds with their charm, absurdity and sheer sonic weight. Gnome continue to push the boundaries of stoner and prog rock with creativity, character and an irresistible sense of fun.
