There’s nothing like this band and there never will be again. They’re just jaw dropping. They are a force of nature. A spectacle. Bewildering and beautiful. An evening of blissful excitement. Unforgettable.

Second time I've seen this lot except last time I couldn't actually see them, as the last time I got in very late and every vantage point was taken(lesson get to the Coronet E&C early) Brixton Academy no such problem. Totally captivating ride of a show , almost primal at some points, would love to see them some where out side at sunrise and no I'm not a hippy. Only gripe the bar running out of larger after queuing ! on a Saturday night really..........

Goat, O2 Academy Brixton, London - 29th July 2017
Emerging from Sweden shrouded in mystery and mythology, Goat have built a devoted global following through their fearless blend of psychedelic experimentation, trance-like rhythms and explosive energy. Drawing inspiration from spiritual ceremony, obscure folk traditions and heavy groove-driven rock, the anonymous collective creates music that feels both timeless and otherworldly. Since the release of their acclaimed debut album World Music (2012), Goat have continued to push boundaries with records including Commune (2014), Requiem (2016) and Oh Death (2022), each expanding their kaleidoscopic sound into thrilling new territory.
Renowned for their visually striking performances, Goat appear on stage wearing elaborate masks and ceremonial costumes, transforming every show into a euphoric and immersive spectacle. Blending pounding percussion, fuzz-drenched guitars, hypnotic repetition and free-flowing improvisation, the band have become festival favourites around the world, earning a reputation as one of the most captivating live acts in contemporary psychedelic music. Mysterious, unpredictable and utterly transportive, Goat continue to blur the line between concert and ritual with every performance.
