Great gig, highly recommended, ace venue to never a bad point

Tribut-ary, a play on words!
Never been a big fan of Tribute Bands as such, seen a couple of good ones, some awful ones, tonight was bang average, I was there because my Son wanted to see Oasish, being a fan of Oasis, I do like the Smiths myself though not particularly into Indie music. Smiths Ltd started a bit slowly but improved as they went on and won the crowd over a bit. I wasn't looking forward to hearing Stone Roses Tribute (forgot name), only know 3 songs, but they took the audience by the scruff of the neck from the start and sounded great, and went down better with the crowd. Oashish I thought were decent but not exciting, just a sing-a-long band, churning out the hits. All in all, quite enjoyable for a none fan, very enjoyable for fans of the bands, at a great little venue with great acoustics. The only sticking point being that my ex-wife refused to go due to the lack of seating in the venue. We got there early and did get a seat in the bar before the bands came on.

Brillant!
Tiv is an an amazing venue for live bands!! Atmosphere was rocking. Staff helpful and friendly. Bands were fab! We really loved Oasis!!!!!!
