KiDi has become one of the defining voices of modern African music, blending Afrobeats, highlife and irresistible pop melodies into a sound that has earned him fans across the globe. Born Dennis Nana Dwamena in Accra, Ghana, the singer, songwriter and producer first rose to prominence after winning the MTN Hitmaker competition in 2015, before breaking through with hits including "Say You Love Me", "Odo" and "Adiepena". Since then, KiDi has established himself as one of Ghana’s biggest musical exports, known for his smooth vocals, infectious hooks and charismatic stage presence. His collaborations with artists including Davido, Mayorkun, Patoranking and Kuami Eugene have further cemented his reputation as a leading force in contemporary African music.
His debut album Sugar (2019) showcased his knack for crafting chart-ready anthems, while follow-up releases, including the Blue EP and The Golden Boy (2021), elevated him to new heights. The latter featured the global smash "Touch It", which became one of the most-streamed Ghanaian songs ever and helped introduce KiDi to an even wider international audience. Along the way, he has collected numerous accolades, including Artiste of the Year honours at the Ghana Music Awards, while continuing to push the boundaries of Afrobeats and highlife for a new generation. Whether performing to packed festival crowds or delivering heartfelt love songs, KiDi brings a blend of charm, energy and musical craftsmanship that has made him one of Africa’s most exciting and influential stars.
