Well worth the wait from January. Another superb gig.
Missed Tony but Brendan has stood in seamlessly. The band are as tight as ever. The set list could do with tweeking but that's bring picky. All the songs are worth listening to.

What a night!
What can I say, Magnum were absolutely on top form at the Garage in Glasgow. A truly moving performance and tribute to Tony Clarkin. Despite the medical emergency halting the first half of the show ( thankfully the person is ok), which was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the venue staff, the evening was a superb mix of amazing songs, a top shelf performance from the band and an equally amazing Magnum family of fans that raised the roof. The Garage is a great venue for seeing live music and Magnum certainly delivered and did not disappoint.

50 years of brilliance
Ticket buying was easy. Nice simple process. 4 gigs so far this year, KKs twice, Holmfirth, Glasgow and Rock city to come. Every show has been marvellous, the venus and audiences have been great and the band close to perfection, except in Holmfirth....where it WAS perfection!

Fantastic night
Brilliant night with Magnum, great atmosphere and performance. Friendly and approachable staff at the venue and booking was simple, even though this was a rescheduled show there were no issues with tickets and no complications A1 all round

Magnum, The Garage, Glasgow - 3rd October 2025
Magnum are an English melodic-hard-rock band formed in Birmingham in 1972 by songwriter-guitarist Tony Clarkin and vocalist Bob Catley. Over the years, Clarkin’s compositions and Catley’s distinctive voice anchored the band through numerous line-ups and evolving styles, all while staying true to their grand, melodic rock ambition. Their breakthrough came with On a Storyteller’s Night (1985) which paved the way for their commercial peak — Wings of Heaven (1988) reached the UK Top 5 and spawned multiple hit singles.
After the band initially split in 1995, Magnum re-formed in 2001 and went on to release a steady stream of studio albums well into the 2020s, including The Monster Roars (2022). The death of Tony Clarkin in January 2024 marked a profound shift, with the band announcing that they would not continue in the same form without his songwriting legacy. Throughout their career, Magnum’s blend of soaring melodies, dramatic instrumentation and lyrical storytelling has secured their place as one of the UK’s enduring rock acts, beloved for both their studio craftsmanship and live performances.
