Marquee Square Heroes: Marillion Tribute , The Robin, Wolverhampton - 15th February 2024
Very good performance. All musicians were excellent. Vocals were a bit iffy. It’s a very hard part to play and using a female vocalist to reach some notes was a good idea but it was a shame she wasn’t loud enough. Overall a great night and the support band, Punch and Judas, were very good as well. Good value for money.

Marquee Square Heroes: Marillion Tribute , The Robin, Wolverhampton - 15th February 2024
Marquee Square Heroes first gig of a 25 date tour for 2024. Particularly impressed with the guitarist and the bassist. Both polished, had done their homework. Drummer and keys were very steady too. Vocalist, on the night, had minor problems with his range, which he admitted to. He gave due praise to the backing vocalist who supported him very well. He had a great rapport with the audience to boot! Overall it was a good performance. They were roundly applauded and asked for an encore. The audience seemed happy. Punch & Judas made their debut appearance at The Robin and proved a very competent addition to the nights entertainment. They provided a set of original prog/rock which proved a palatable hors d’oeuvre before the main course . I will be looking out for them in the future.

First time seeing this band, but it definitely won't be the last. Absolutely fantastic night, from the chose of songs, to the way the crowd was encouraged to enjoy themselves. First time at the Robin2 since before covid, and the the changes they have made were impressive.
