Mavis still has star quality and a fabulous sense of fun. She was supported by two brilliant singers and lead guitarist/singer and together they produced a great show. Another terrific night in the best venue

Mavis Staples, Union Chapel, London - 24th June 2024
Seeing Mavis in such a beautiful, atmospheric building is a match made in heaven. A great band on top form made it a night to remember. I was glad it wasn't an all-nighter though as the pews are so hard. Special praise too for the lighting and the sound quality.

Mavis was on top form, the band was superb and the sound balance was excellent.. The venue is one of my favourites. Would go again in a heartbeat.

To see a true gospel/soul icon at the Union Chapel makes for an evangelical experience. Not many left that command such grace and presence as Mavis. A privilege to see her and her band perform again. Great support from Jon Muq also.
