Morgana is the solo project of Irish singer-songwriter Morgan MacIntyre, who first made her name as one half of the acclaimed folk duo Saint Sister. Alongside Gemma Doherty, she released two albums — Shape of Silence (2018) and Where I Should End (2021), the latter named Album of the Year at the Northern Ireland Music Prize and a top ten hit on the Irish charts. Saint Sister's adventures took them around the world, supporting the likes of Hozier, Tori Amos, Keane and Robbie Williams, playing Glastonbury and recording a now-beloved NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
Now performing under her own name, Morgana trades atmospheric folk for something brighter and bolder: theatrical, disco-tinged indie pop built around her remarkable vocal range. Her live shows are immersive, playful affairs, captured in her own mantra, "prepared to party, ready to cry". With sold-out headline shows in Dublin, London and Belfast behind her and a devoted following, she has become one of Ireland's most exciting new solo voices. Fans of CMAT, Kate Bush and Sharon Van Etten will find plenty to love.
