Phoenix Lake , Saltbox, Nottingham - 27th March 2026
Phoenix Lake are a Nottingham-based hard rock four-piece making waves with their powerful blend of heavy riffs, melodic metal and soaring, emotive vocals. Led by guitarists Ash Wilson and Zak Smith, with the commanding voice of vocalist Lana Phillis at the forefront, the band deliver a sound that balances intensity with striking melodic clarity. Their 2023 EP Beyond the Flames introduced their dynamic approach — tight musicianship, dramatic build-ups and choruses built to ignite a crowd — and quickly caught the attention of rock fans both in the UK and far beyond.
Building on that momentum, Phoenix Lake have continued to expand their sonic identity with singles including “Fractured Wings”, “Come Alive” and their bold reimagining of “Wicked Game”. Each release showcases the band’s flair for combining modern metal edge with classic hard rock sensibilities, resulting in tracks that feel both fresh and fiercely memorable. On stage, they bring a high-energy performance rooted in passion, precision and a shared love of heavy music. With growing international recognition and a sound that’s only growing stronger, Phoenix Lake are carving out a reputation as one of Nottingham’s most exciting rising rock acts.
