Roger Paul Eugene Eno, known as Roger Eno, is an accomplished English ambient music composer from Suffolk.

Eno began his journey into music by learning the euphonium at just 12 years old, going on to attend the Colchester Institute to study music at 16. Prior to his fame as a composer he ran a music therapy course for people with learning difficulties. While largely known as a pianist, Roger Eno is also a talented multi-instrumentalist and singer.

1983 saw Roger Eno record music for the first time alongside his brother Brian Eno and Canadian producer and musician Daniel Lanois,  in the form of the album Apollo. Just two years later, his first solo album, Voices, was released. Throughout his illustrious career, he has worked with a vast number of incredible artists aside from his brother, including David Gilmour, Peter Hammill, Gaudi and Tim Bowness, Michael Brook and Kate St John.

Roger Eno's musical contributions also extend to the world of film, and he has been known to write soundtracks for features such as For All Mankind, Nine and a Half Weeks, Warm Summer Rain and The Jacket.

Eno's discography is extensive and hugely influential; throughout his career the composer has released more than 30 albums, in the form of both studio and live recordings.
