Since discovering Roo Panes and his music and having the chance to see him live, I was very much looking forward to the event. On the night itself, I was totally impressed by the performance and would definitely book to see him again. An excellent evening all round!

Roo Panes and The Delphi Quartet, Barbican Hall, London - 1st February 2025
This isn’t the first time my partner and I have seen Roo Panes and his accompanying musicians. As ever it was an absolutely stellar performance. Very cosy, intimate and downright magical. You could really feel the love these guys had for each other and their art!

Roo Panes and the Delphi Quartet were brilliant. The guys supporting, based on either side of Roo, were very good and really made the evening a lot of fun. So many great songs and getting the crowd to sing with them was great fun! Great music, great fun and an amazing evening!

Roo Panes and The Delphi Quartet, Barbican Hall, London - 1st February 2025
Roo Panes is always wonderful live but there was a little extra something in the air at Union Chapel! The sound is amazing and the building is beautiful. Roo’s band added glorious layers of sound and harmonies to his songs. Absolutely magical atmosphere and the last song, a completely unplugged version of He Knows Me Well was really moving. Genuinely one of the best live gigs I’ve seen in a long time.

Roo Panes, Union Chapel, London - 9th June 2023
With his warm, reflective songwriting and unmistakable voice, Roo Panes has quietly become one of the UK’s most compelling folk artists. Blending poetic lyricism with sweeping instrumentation, his music is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Since the release of his debut album Little Giant (2014), Roo has continued to craft songs that feel timeless, earning comparisons to Nick Drake and Ben Howard. Albums like Paperweights (2016) and Quiet Man (2018) showcase his ability to pair delicate melodies with profound storytelling, while his stripped-back Nightjar and the Nightingale (2022) further highlights his talent for introspection and intimacy.
Beyond the studio, Roo’s live performances are a captivating experience—his rich, emotive vocals and intricate guitar work drawing audiences into his world. With millions of streams and a devoted following, he continues to carve out a space where folk tradition meets modern sensibility, creating music that lingers long after the final note.
