Fantastic band. One of the best gigs ever!
Never seen Speaking In Tongues before. I love David Byrne and Talking Heads. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much. I was blown away as soon as they started playing. The sound was excellent as were the musicians and singers. They put a lot of energy and enthusiasm into their performance, it was a workout for the lead vocalist! The set list was spot on. I hope they return to Birmingham. As far as the venue is concerned, I've been before and the acoustics and speakers are good. My only complaint is that I can't pay cash, and one of the barmen hadn't got a clue how to make a lager dash, even when explained clearly.
