Fantastic musician
Followed him on Spotify. Was blown away by how good he was live! The song Trouble was a scorcher. Sounded like The Black Keys/Jack White at times. Great guitar player and a tea nice guy - crowd loved him

The Bones of J.R. Jones is the project of New York songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jonathon Linaberry, whose music draws together blues, folk, garage rock and weathered Americana. First emerging in 2012, Linaberry built the project around a raw, restless sound shaped by early punk roots and a fascination with old field recordings.
Across albums and EPs, including Radio Waves (2025), produced by Robbie Lackritz, The Bones of J.R. Jones has developed a moody, hypnotic style that pairs acoustic grit with atmospheric textures. His songs have appeared in TV series including True Detective, Suits and Daredevil, while his live reputation has taken him across the US and Europe, with appearances at events such as Telluride Blues and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
