First time seeing TDT and certainly not disappointed. Blown away by their performance - why is this band not bigger than they are?!?

The Damn Truth, Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek - 13th November 2025
Travelled 60 plus miles on a wet and cold Thursday to see The Damn Truth on the first night of their tour. Again got a warm friendly welcome at the entrance. The staff at the well stocked bar were friendly and prices were also pretty good The sound was excellent and so was the light show. Clean toilets etc. Good view of the band from all parts of the venue. The crowd was quite sparse but the band got everyone involved. Great songs and dynamics. All members of the band worked really hard and never stopped. Being going to concerts for 50 plus years and can’t wait to see them again and get new material. Minor but annoying point- bass player should keep politics out of rock n roll show.

The Damn Truth are a high-energy rock ‘n’ roll band from Montreal, Canada, known for their electrifying sound that fuses classic rock, blues, and psychedelic influences. Fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Lee-La Baum, the band has carved out a name for themselves with their raw, soulful performances and hard-hitting guitar riffs. Drawing comparisons to rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and Janis Joplin, The Damn Truth bring a modern edge to the vintage rock revival.
Their breakthrough album Now or Nowhere (2021), produced by the legendary Bob Rock, showcased their ability to craft anthemic, guitar-driven rock while maintaining a deeply personal and emotive core. Tracks like "This Is Who We Are Now" and "Only Love" became fan favourites, highlighting their powerful songwriting and impassioned delivery. The band has toured extensively across the UK and Europe, sharing the stage with acts such as ZZ Top, Rival Sons, and The Sheepdogs. Known for their ferocious live energy and a commitment to keeping authentic rock music alive, The Damn Truth are one of the most exciting bands in today’s rock landscape.
