The Delines are an amazing band and they were fantastic, as was the venue and the sound quality achieved on the night. The evening started with Chris Eckman (prev of the Walkabouts) with a solo acoustic set which was great. The Delines were something else, such a tight band with a selection of music from their catalogue. Flawless performances of all tracks and Amys voice is beyond mesmerising fully supported by excellent musicianship by the band.

The Delines are truly wonderful. Willy Vlautin's stories of the downtrodden in America....always trying to do their best. A well crafted musical unit Willy(guitar)Sean(drums) Freddy (bass)Cory ( keyboards and trumpet)woven around the mesmerising vocals of Amy Boone.

Great to see the Delines at Union Chapel again. The venue works really well for them. Superb performance, the band and Amy were at the tp of their game and lovely to hear many of the favourites alongside new material. The concert had a lovely vibe, despite the intense nature of the songs.

The Delines performance was wonderful. Amy's vocals were perfect throughout and the band looked like they were enjoying themselves.

The Delines are a soulful country band from Portland, Oregon, known for their cinematic songwriting and slow-burn sound that blends Americana, soul and vintage R&B. Centred around the evocative vocals of Amy Boone and the acclaimed songwriting of Willy Vlautin (also of Richmond Fontaine), the band craft richly drawn narratives full of atmosphere, melancholy and quiet beauty.
Their critically acclaimed albums Colfax (2014), The Imperial (2019) and The Sea Drift (2022) have earned them a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic. UK audiences have embraced the band’s evocative live performances, with sold-out headline tours and appearances at festivals such as End of the Road and Black Deer. With timeless arrangements and a gift for storytelling, The Delines have carved out a distinct place in modern Americana—subtle, soulful and deeply affecting.
