Inspiral Carpets set the tone early with their signature wall-of-sound organ grooves and undeniable swagger. Pulsing with high energy, the Oldham icons swept through a tight, driving set list, by the time The Wonder Stuff took to the stage, the crowd was primed. Frontman Miles Hunt held the room in the palm of his hand from the very first line, delivering his trademark razor-sharp wit and passionate vocals. Erica Nockalls was an absolute standout, her electric violin added sweeping melody, grit, and driving folk-punk power

Bought the tickets for my hubby and his brother and his brother couldn't make it so he dragged me along (reluctantly) Had a bloody amazing night dancing away. Actually preferred Inspiral Carpets to The Wonderstuff but glad I went along. Love the venue too

It was brilliant! Love the double headliner format and neither the Inspiral Carpets or The Wonder Stuff let anyone down. They were album quality performances and I really hope I get to see both bands again very soon! Epic Night and I got a set list and caught the The Wonder Stuff’s maraca which was thrown into the crowd 🙌🏼

The Wonder Stuff and Inspiral Carpets come together as a co-headline pairing that captures the spirit of British alternative music at its most influential. Both bands emerged from the late ’80s and early ’90s indie scene, shaping the sound of a generation with their distinctive styles and enduring songwriting.
The Wonder Stuff built their reputation on witty, energetic indie rock, with singalong favourites like “The Size of a Cow” and “Welcome to the Cheap Seats” becoming defining anthems. Inspiral Carpets, meanwhile, carved out their own place in the Madchester movement, driven by swirling organ lines and tracks such as “This Is How It Feels” and “Saturn 5”. Together, they deliver a co-headline show packed with nostalgia, energy and timeless British indie classics.
