The venue was quite compact giving it a rather warm coset atmosphere until the drum beat then guitars began their rousing beat. Then things really started to heat up. Kirk was on fine form with Stan on Base which surprised me as I heared he had missed some shows due to illness. They sounded great even without rehearsals or a warm up as Stan stated. I am glad I made the 72 mile round trip as I had a ticket for the Manchester Academy gig but my mental health issues made me missout. This gig made me feel alive again, I sang along loudly as possible to every tune tas loud as I could thanks to Kirk & the boys I am on my way back to normality. Standout tunes were Conquistador, Westworld, The Hop & Legion. Theatre of Hate the best medicine money can buy.
