Tokio Hotel, Eventim Apollo, London - 24th March 2025

Tokio Hotel is a German rock band formed in 2001 in Magdeburg, Germany. The group originally gained attention with their debut album, Schrei (2005), which featured hit singles like "Durch den Monsun" and "Rette Mich", propelling them into the international spotlight. The band's early sound combined elements of pop rock and emo, with anthemic choruses and emotionally charged lyrics, resonating with a young audience across Europe and beyond.

Led by twin brothers Bill Kaulitz (vocals) and Tom Kaulitz (guitar), the band was later joined by Gustav Schäfer (drums) and Georg Listing (bass). Tokio Hotel achieved widespread success with their album Humanoid (2009), which featured more electronic influences and a polished, futuristic sound. Over the years, they have continued to evolve their musical style, experimenting with electro-pop, alternative rock, and synth-driven soundscapes. Their 2020 release, Dream Machine, marked a shift towards a more electronic pop direction, while maintaining their signature emotional depth.

Known for their dynamic live performances and dedicated fanbase, Tokio Hotel has played sold-out shows across the globe, including major festivals in the UK, Germany, and the US. With their blend of rock, pop, and electronic music, Tokio Hotel remains a prominent name in the global rock scene, continuing to captivate audiences with their unique sound and style.
