Fabulous evening! Loved every funky riff and the audience participation but even more the authenticity.

Tom McGuire & The Brassholes are a funk and soul powerhouse from Glasgow. The eight-piece cut their teeth busking on Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street during the city's 2014 Commonwealth Games, then made a living playing bars before their debut single "Ric Flair" took off online. Their self-titled first album, Tom McGuire & The Brassholes (2019), followed soon after and was launched with a sold-out show at Glasgow's QMU.
Since then, the band have supported Craig Charles and George Clinton, headlined festivals across Scotland and toured widely throughout the UK and Europe. Second album Stay Rad (2023) arrived with a sold-out debut at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom, and the band followed it up with a sell-out UK tour. Their third album, A Name For Everything I'll Ever Be (2025), is their most personal record yet, and it shows a band growing in depth without losing an ounce of groove. Expect punchy horns, tight arrangements and songs about life's ups and downs, all built to keep the whole room dancing.
