Great gig!

I've been wanting to see the band live for a while now so it was great that they were playing at the closest venue to where I live. TUVM were fantastic playing a good mixture of old an new material to a very appreciative crowd. I hope its not too long before they return to Nottingham to play again.

The Urban Voodoo Machine, The Maze, Nottingham - 15th December 2017

The Urban Voodoo Machine are a British band known for their wild, genre-blurring sound and carnival-like live energy. Blending folk, blues, gypsy rhythms and rock ‘n’ roll spirit, they create music that feels theatrical, infectious and completely their own. With a style rooted in storytelling, dark humour and high-octane groove, the band have built a reputation for turning every performance into a celebration.

Often described as a travelling musical circus, The Urban Voodoo Machine deliver songs packed with swagger, charm and a sense of joyful chaos. Their shows are fuelled by bold melodies, vibrant instrumentation and an irresistible sense of fun, drawing audiences into a world where folk meets punk attitude and cabaret spirit. With a devoted following and an unmistakable identity, they remain one of the UK’s most distinctive and entertaining live acts.
