Monday night out
A great band performing at a great venue on a Monday night. Excellent, really enjoyed their intimate performance, with some really good music and great humour.

Classy performance
We Are Scientists are absolutely brilliant live, they deserve to be so much better known. Such a classy band with hilarious line in on stage banter. They’ve written some outstanding music and it was perfectly showcased tonight. Feel privileged to have seen them at such a small venue.

Nice staff
Great gig and really appreciated the friendly staff who made sure my sister being a wheelchair user got a great spot at the front which is rare and made it so much better. Thank you to the staff at FutureYard x

They never disappoint
As always We are scientists deliver on every level. Great value for money, a great varied set list and still playing smaller intimate venues meaning you’re always close to the action. Always comical banter between Chris and Keith on stage which adds to the whole enjoyment of the gig. Saw them first in 2005 and almost 18 years later I never get tired of seeing them as they never disappoint.

Indie-rock icons We Are Scientists have been lighting up the scene since their breakout album With Love and Squalor (2005), featuring hits like “Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt.” Their witty lyrics and infectious hooks continued with albums like Helter Seltzer and Lobes (2023).
The New York-based duo is a favourite on the UK live circuit, having headlined venues such as the Roundhouse and festivals like Reading and Leeds. Known for their humorous stage banter and electric energy, they’ve also supported acts like The Killers and Editors.
