Wings of Desire, The Lexington, London - 12th March 2026
Wings of Desire are an indie rock band centred around Chloe Little and James Taylor, formerly of INHEAVEN, whose music channels urgency, intellect and atmosphere in equal measure. Drawing inspiration from the creative explosion of Factory Records and the motorik pulse of krautrock, their sound blends driving rhythms with reflective lyricism and a distinctly cinematic edge. Influences extend beyond music, with the ideas of thinkers such as Alan Watts and Noam Chomsky, alongside the visual language of filmmaker Wim Wenders, shaping a project that feels both restless and considered.
Their debut EP End of an Age introduced the band’s sharp, forward-thinking identity, pairing propulsive guitars with themes that question modern life and personal agency. Subsequent singles including “Choose A Life”, “A Gun In Every Home” and “Angels” have further refined their sound, balancing intensity with clarity and emotional weight. With a growing reputation built on focused songwriting and compelling live performances, Wings of Desire continue to establish themselves as a thoughtful and powerful presence within contemporary indie rock.
