Excellent Classic Yes tribute band

Have seen Yes Please twice, both times been very impressed by their professional and realistic set. All very accomplished musicians. Highly recommend if you like Yes

YES Please, The Robin, Wolverhampton - 20th April 2023

YES PLEASE are a tribute band dedicated to celebrating the music of progressive rock pioneers Yes, endorsed by John Hessenthaler, the original promoter of the band’s classic line-up. Drawing from a catalogue that helped define progressive rock across the 1970s and 1980s, their set honours albums such as The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Going for the One and 90125, alongside iconic songs including “Roundabout”, “Wonderous Stories” and the US number one “Owner of a Lonely Heart”. The music of Yes is renowned for its bold fusion of rock, classical, jazz, folk, funk and wider global influences, and YES PLEASE approach this legacy with care, respect and precision.

On stage, YES PLEASE painstakingly recreate the sound, complexity and spirit of the originals, from intricate arrangements to soaring vocal harmonies and authentic instrumentation. Their performances span hit singles and extended masterpieces alike, bringing the ambition and energy of classic Yes to life for dedicated fans and new listeners. In (2019), the band were honoured to perform at Roger Dean’s largest exhibition of Yes album artwork to date, further cementing their standing within the Yes community. Featuring Steve Howe specialist Oliver Day on guitar, YES PLEASE continue to receive high praise for their faithful, powerful live celebrations of one of progressive rock’s most innovative bands.
