New York band Anthrax are pioneers of thrash metal and part of the "Big Four" alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. Formed in 1981, the group now consist of consists of Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais.
Anthrax have released eleven studio albums, including best sellers Among the Living (1987), State of Euphoria (1988) and Sound of White Noise (1993). Their latest LP For All Kings dropped in 2016.
Kreator are a German thrash metal fourpiece. First formed in 1982, the quarter now consists of Miland "Mille" Petrozza (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jürgen "Ventor" Reil (drums), Sami Yli-Sirniö (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Frédéric Leclercq (bass, backing vocals). Their experimental blend of industrial and gothic metal can be heard across fifteen studio albums, including debut album Endless Pain (1985), Gods of Violence (2017) which went to No. 1 in their home country and Hate Über Alles (2022) which also broke the Top 10 in Germany.
