Baroness at the 1865 was a thrilling exciting show. The crowd were pumped and the band clearly relished everyone's energy and commitment. John Baizley is a charismatic front man whom the crowd clearly were in awe of. The band were tight and on fire. Songs ranged from the new album Stone back to the Red album. Highlights for me were the trio of songs from Purple and the two encores. Even the new songs were absolute bangers. John applauded the crowds energy several times and this intimate gig was like being in a pub. Truly everyone was going for it. A unity of souls and artistic expression. Favourite tune- Isak!! Best gig ever. I'm 59 and seen every band worth seeing!
