Umpteenth time seeing Black Stone Cherry. They never ever disappoint. First time seeing Ayron Jones and Skillet live but would def go see both again. Brilliant night from start to finish.

Black Stone Cherry, OVO Hydro, Glasgow - 20th November 2024
This was the 8th time I’ve seen the band. The previous time was in a much smaller venue in Glasgow, and I was concerned that the intensity of that gig would overshadow the experience in the enormodome. I needn’t have worried. The band’s warmth made the hall feel smaller and more intimate. Looking forward to next time!

I`m not the biggest fan of the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, sometimes it can be very difficult to get a decent view, especially if you arrive to catch the headline band. Black Stone Cherry always deliver, even if this is one of the smallest venues they`ve played in the UK in some 17 years of playing around the UK. From the arenas, concert halls and smaler clubs like Rock City, the band always give 100% and tonight was no exception, with just a few numbers from their new album, the band played a 20 songs set of some classic BSC. Make sure you get to one of these shows, if not I`m sure the guys will be back in 2024 to rock our socks off again.

Black Stone Cherry, Rescue Rooms, Nottingham - 2nd October 2023
A great night spent in the company of a band right at the top of their game. You could feel the energy flowing from the stage and the band were loving it. Awesome sound, wicked set list, simple but effective light show. Loved every minute of it.

My Word! That gig was phenomenal! To live it without looking at my phone was incredible just soaking it all up. Chris’ voice was off the hook. All bands were amazing.

Black Stone Cherry, Caerphilly Castle, Caerphilly - 13th July 2019
Black Stone Cherry are a hard-hitting Kentucky rock band whose sound blends southern-rock warmth with the grit and depth of nineties grunge. Formed in 2001, the band features Chris Robertson (lead vocals, guitars), Ben Wells (guitars), John Fred Young (drums) and Steve Jewell (bass), each bringing raw energy and musical flair to a sound that feels both rooted in tradition and fiercely modern. Their self-titled debut Black Stone Cherry (2006) introduced their fiery riffs, soulful vocals and blues-soaked swagger, paving the way for a run of albums that showcased both heaviness and heartfelt storytelling, including Folklore and Superstition (2008) and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (2011).
Across eight studio albums — from the riff-charged Magic Mountain (2014) and the deeply personal Kentucky (2016) to the rootsy Family Tree (2018), the explosive The Human Condition (2020) and Screamin’ at the Sky (2023) — Black Stone Cherry have proven themselves masters of arena-ready hooks and emotionally charged southern rock. On stage, they’re an unstoppable force, known for high-octane performances, infectious camaraderie and a connection with fans built over two decades of relentless touring. With their mix of classic rock soul and contemporary edge, Black Stone Cherry continue to be one of the most compelling and enduring bands in modern American rock.
