Great gig by Bobbie Dazzle and the Dazzle band at the Deaf Institute Lodge. Also, huge thanks to Silveroller for a top-notch support slot, making it a fab double bill, and I can't wait see both of them again very soon.

Bobbie Dazzle, The Deaf Institute, Manchester - 30th October 2025
Bobbie Dazzle is the glam rock alter ego of singer, songwriter and flautist Siân Greenaway, once the frontwoman of doom rock band Alunah. Trading darkness for glitter, she reinvented herself as a flag-bearer for 1970s glam, drawing on the swagger of The Sweet, T. Rex, Slade and Suzi Quatro while weaving in the flute-led flourishes of her beloved prog rock. The result is joyful, colourful and unashamedly fun — rock 'n' roll made for dancing rather than brooding.
Her debut album, Fandabidozi (2024), arrived via Rise Above Records and quickly turned heads. A packed first year of touring followed, with support slots for Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, The Sweet and Thunder's Luke Morley, plus an appearance at British Summer Time Hyde Park on a bill with ELO. Live, Bobbie Dazzle and her band deliver exactly what the records promise: big riffs, singalong choruses, the odd unexpected flute solo and a wardrobe as vivid as the songs. It's glam rock escapism at its brightest, and a proper party from start to finish.
