Great night top support band

Both buzzcocks and support band 1979 top notch venue as usual top class well worth £30

They still have it!

Great gig but they seemed too rush through the night. Maybe due to the curfew at the venue. Also no encore, although they did play the 3 most well known tracks at the end. Otherwise it was excellent.

Buzzcocks are famed for such high energy classic pop punk hits as "Orgasm Addict", "What Do I Get?", "Everybody's Happy Nowadays" and "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)".


First formed in 1976 by guitarist Pete Shelley and singer-songwriter Howard Devoto, the Bolton-based band now consists of Steve Diggle (vocals, guitar), Danny Farrant (drums), Chris Remington (bass) and Mani Perazzoli (guitar).


They have released ten studio albums, including Another Music in a Different Kitchen (1978), Love Bites (1978), A Different Kind of Tension (1979), Trade Test Transmissions (1993), All Set (1996), Modern (1999), Buzzcocks (2003), Flat-Pack Philosophy (2006), The Way (2014) and Sonics in the Soul (2022).
