Captain Accident, The Bunkhouse, Swansea - 11th February 2023

Captain Accident creates a unique blend of rock-driven soulful roots reggae, ska, and dub from his home studio in Cardiff, collaborating with his talented musical collective, The Disasters. With four self-produced albums—Pick Up the Microphone (2010), Slippin’ Up (2013), Wake & Break (2016), and Bad Press (2021)—the band has built a reputation for delivering explosive live performances. Their energetic shows, featuring soulful vocals, lush harmonies, soaring twin guitars, and an infectious groove, have made Captain Accident and his band a standout in the UK reggae/ska scene.

The band has toured extensively across the UK and Europe, sharing the stage with legends like Toots & The Maytals, and playing at top festivals such as Glastonbury and Rototom Sunsplash. Bad Press received critical acclaim, including praise from reggae icon David Rodigan. With new music and more tours on the horizon, Captain Accident and The Disasters continue to grow their fanbase and solidify their place as one of the most exciting acts in the reggae and ska scenes.
