Cardinal Black were truly on form at the Live Rooms in Chester. Great musicians, brilliant songs, superbly performed. The rapport with the audience was fantastic. Pity about the few idiots who decided to talk through the whole performance - go to the pub!

Cardinal Black, The Live Rooms, Chester - 26th April 2024
Love Cardinal Black, and they didn't disappoint. Brilliant musicians and set that built in emotion and tempo as night went on. What a singer and Chris is a massive talent.

Cardinal Black, Anarchy Brew Co , Newcastle Upon Tyne - 7th May 2023
Excellent gig. The support was well worth watching, and delivered a good set. Cardinal Black were absolutely excellent, with the new additions (Keyboards, backing singer) slotting in nicely. Even though Tom Hollister was suffering from ill health, the band still delivered a 'you had to be there' set, with Chris Buck, as ever, showing he's one of the best guitarists in the business - at any level. The only issue was people in the audience talking loudly during the support. This is extremely irritating, and very rude. It has always happened at smaller gigs (sadly), but its becoming more prevalent at bigger venues like the Academy sites. Historically, if you didn't want to see the support, or were not impressed, you just went outside, or went to the bar and chatted there. It may be time for venues to request, as a first step, people to stop talking once the act is onstage. A few weeks after this concert I saw Riverside at the same venue, Manchester Academy, and during the bands set people were talking loudly there too. Its becoming a real problem.
