good start but....
It seemed too short but on reflection Caroline were almost perfect in delivering just over an hour's worth of high quality musicianship. The band clearly enjoyed playing together and seemed pleased with the enthusiasm the crowd welcomed each number with. The new album and single were showcased. Caroline work their own furrow seemingly oblivious to the latest trend or genre. Long may it continue.

caroline are an experimental rock band from London, formed in 2017. Known for their expansive sound and genre-blending style, the band merges elements of post-rock, folk, and Midwest emo, creating intricate and immersive musical landscapes. Their eight-member lineup includes Casper Hughes, Jasper Llewellyn, Mike O'Malley, Oliver Hamilton, Magdalena McLean, Freddy Wordsworth, Alex McKenzie, and Hugh Aynsley, all of whom contribute to the band’s distinctive, dynamic sound.
In February 2022, caroline released their highly anticipated self-titled debut album, which received critical acclaim for its atmospheric soundscapes and immersive, layered compositions. Their live performances, often marked by extended instrumental improvisations, further showcase the band's ability to craft unique musical journeys that resonate with their audiences.
