One of the best punk bands still going. We travelled from Stoke and my wife came with me for a night out although punk isn’t really her thing. However, she loved it. Jeff is a great frontman and the musicianship was spot on. Micky is a fantastic guitarist. The opening act, Noose, we’re also good. A great night at a great venue. This was our first time at The Hairy Dog and we look forward to many more.

COCKNEY REJECTS, The Hairy Dog, Derby - 4th November 2023
My third gig at the Hairy Dog this year, and always found it to be a great venue. Staff switched on, bouncers firm but fair and friendly. I was sorry to see only about half the crowd numbers that the UK Subs and the Exploited pulled in at their gigs here, earlier this year. Yes, well that's their lookout. They missed a great gig, starting with Fighting In The Street, and ploughing thru a Greatest Hits set, peppered with a handful of later favourites. If you needed a bit of fitness training, get down the front for Stinky Turner's boxercise workout. It was all over by 2215hrs, so no problems with people catching buses and trains home.

Been listening to them on Spotify for a week to fresh up. They sound still the same. Very stopped moving. Brilliant performance and very well worth it

Ultimate Oi! Punk band The Cockney Rejects have been one of the fiercest bands on the circuit for close to four decades.
Their members currently include drummer Andrew Laing, guitarist Mick Geggus, vocalist Jeff Geggus and Vince Riordan on bass.
They burst onto the scene with the ironically titled debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1 in March of 1980, followed by Greatest Hits Vol. 2 in September of the same year. Following titles include The Power And The Glory, The Wild Ones, Quiet Storm, Lethal, Out Of The Gutter, Unforgiven, East End Babylon and Power Grab.
