Dare, The Picturedrome, Holmfirth - 8th December 2024

Brilliant gig

Big fan of Dare and they did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed them. However the support act I thought was awful. The lead guitar and singer just sober the whole 30 minutes swearing which I thought was rude

Dare is a British rock band from Oldham, formed in 1985, known for their melodic-rock and AOR (Album-Oriented Rock) sound. Led by former Thin Lizzy keyboardist Darren Wharton, the band released their debut album, Out of the Silence (1988), featuring singles like "Abandon" and "Into the Fire." Their subsequent albums include Blood from Stone (1991) and Sacred Ground (2016). Their latest release, Road to Eden (2022), continues their legacy of anthemic rock. Dare has performed extensively across Europe and has supported iconic bands like Europe and Gary Moore on tour.
