Dehd fresh off release of their excellent 24 album Poetry played to a pack Village Underground...hot & sticky venue and the band were awesome- spirited, indie, garagey, poppy, rocky, country loads of influences in their sound; mixing some of the new album with a range of tracks from their back catalogue. A lively and appreciative crowd, friendly venue and excellent door people. 5 stars highly recommend band and venue

Dehd is a Chicago-based indie-rock band known for their minimalist, lo-fi sound that blends surf rock, post-punk, and dream-pop. Formed in 2015, the trio has released several albums, including Blue Skies (2022) and Flower of Devotion (2020), with standout singles such as "Loner" and "Bad Love." Their raw, emotionally charged performances have earned them slots at festivals like Pitchfork and SXSW. Dehd has also supported acts like Twin Peaks and Parquet Courts on tour, cementing their reputation as one of the standout bands in the modern indie scene.
