This festival is the perfect size, not too crowded, with plenty of space to watch the bands. The venue was interesting and atmospheric in the Reading abbey ruins. There was a really diverse and interesting line-up of bands and a good opportunity to get close-up to watch them and meet them afterwards. The sound quality was good. The food selection was good, and was of high quality. The beer was also very good. Best of all was no queues! I found it a really enjoyable experience overall. It's the first time I have visited, I came to see BC Camplight, but no that I have experienced the event I will be back next year whatever the headliner.

I went along on the Friday evening. Amazing setting, very well arranged for the festival, nicely lit. One thing I particularly appreciated was the excellent quality of the live sound. See you next year!

I’ve been attending this festival since the get-go, and this year’s festival did not disappoint. A diverse range of acts, but all perfectly curated, and set in the marvellous Abbey ruins. The Siren beer is a great pull and the food stalls were great. No huge queues for the loos and a great recycling scheme for our rubbish and well maintained water points. Security and volunteers helpful and kind. Loved all the acts and it’s great that there are 2 stages with no timetable clashes. We’ll be back next year to party our merry backsides off.

I only attended on the Friday night. The music was wonderful, the only reason that I've rated the event 4 stars instead of 5 was because there weren't enough beer outlets - a further tent (space permitting) or more can stalls would've been an improvement. On the other hand it was great that free water was available.
