East 17, The Robin, Wolverhampton - 19th December 2024

East 17 were one of the biggest boy bands of the 90s, known for their mix of pop, R&B, and hip-hop influences. Formed in Walthamstow, London, in 1991, the band’s debut album, Walthamstow (1993), featured the chart-topping single "Stay Another Day," which became a Christmas classic.

With over 18 million records sold worldwide, East 17 were a major force in the UK music scene, alongside rivals Take That. Their energetic live performances were a hallmark of their success, and they headlined multiple UK tours during their peak.

East 17 also played at festivals like Let's Rock and have continued to perform in various line-ups over the years, appealing to nostalgic audiences. Their ability to blend heartfelt ballads with upbeat tracks gave them a distinctive sound, securing their place in British pop history. Even today, they are a staple of 90s-themed concerts and festivals.
